Housing Intel
On-Post Housing
On-base housing through Lincoln Military Housing is popular given the island's limited off-base market. Apply early.
Off-Post Rental Market
Rental and home purchase market is affordable. BAH covers comfortable off-base housing in Oak Harbor and Coupeville.
Commute
Oak Harbor city is 5 to 15 minutes from the main gate depending on the housing area. Coupeville is 15 to 20 minutes south. Accessing the mainland requires the ferry from Keystone to Port Townsend or driving north off the island via the Deception Pass bridge (30 to 40 minutes to I-5 in Burlington).
