Housing Intel

On-Post Housing

Hunt Military Communities manages Quantico housing. Demand is high due to the transient student population (OCS, TBS). Apply immediately.

Off-Post Rental Market

Northern Virginia is expensive but Stafford and Fredericksburg offer relatively better value. BAH at O3 covers most Stafford and Fredericksburg rentals.

Commute

Triangle and Dumfries are 5 to 10 minutes from the base. Stafford is 10 to 20 minutes. Woodbridge is 15 to 20 minutes. Fredericksburg is 20 to 25 minutes to the south gate. I-95 is notoriously congested heading north toward DC, often adding 30 to 60 minutes during rush hour.
